5. Four More Wars - er, years, or was it ears - damn. CUT!
Exxon John can't distance himself from Bush because they are joined in a manner that can't be described in this forum because of the rules for posting. The people who have been hurt the most by Bush are sadly the ones dumb enough to vote for McCain. The rich are already in his bed. The surrogates can't defend him because they don't have to - all they need to do is yell "ANTI-ABORTION GUN-RIGHTS NO-TAXES" crap and the sheep all yell "BAAAAAAAAA".

8. Hey, he's the best man they had
The alternatives were Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee, Rudy 911 and Tom Tancredo.

Teddy Roosevelt isn't available.

13. Sometimes I think...
they don't want to win somehow. Let the Democrats inherit the Bush/Cheney mess and then blame them when they can't fix it in 4 years. They are always good at pulling the wool over the people's eyes. In 2011 they'll say this never would have happened under a Republican president and most idiots will accept that.

16. What's even sadder is the fact that this is still close.
I think it says more about America than it does about the candidates.

Personally, though, I think Barack is going to pull away after the debates happen. McCain is . . . well, downright lousy at public speaking and Obama isn't going to have to put up much effort to best him.

11. Gilligan was the only one who wasn't stammering and stuttering with his answer.
But when "howdy doody" Gregory reminded him that his response was rewarmed Bush/Cheney rhetoric, he developed a brain fart.

12. Sick of McCain
Edited on Sun Aug-17-08 04:50 PM by Hyuke4
I am sick and tired of hearing about Mc Cain and him being a war hero.I was in ifantry with the 1st cav 5/7 batalion, and a draftee and also disable VET.
McCain is no D *mn hero as far as I am concerned and is nothing but a miserable, arrogant warmonger who glorifies violence as long as it is against others.
Flying miles up and dropping bombs without knowing the devastation wreaked upon the ground is easy thing for one to do.
Every thing MaCain talks about always revert to War,defending America, strategic interest,Spreading freedom, and Victory. What does he define as Victory? He and the neocons have no intention of ever leaving Iraq and never did.
They have a lot of nerve telling Russia that they must cease and desist. What nerve, after they launched their own illegal and most immoral war upon the innocent people of Iraq,a war based on lies, deceit, greed, unbridled arrogance, and grab for more power .
We have too many people with the idea of my country right or wrong,so we have to stand behind our leaders, thats immoral,Wrong is wrong, and right is right.

Talk about evil doers,we have more than enough evil doers right here in our country running the show.
They have no moral standing in this world to say anything to Russia, and they and Israel, more than likely set the stage for this latest incident in motion
