Senate Majority Leader Harry Reed of Nevada, spoke Wednesday at the Democratic National Convention.

He focused on John McCain's constant push for offshore drilling. He says "lets review the facts. White House analysts congressional analysts and the oil industry all agree that offshore drilling wont add one drop to our energy pool in 10 years." He then quoted T. Boone Pickens saying " we can't drill our way out of this crisis".

Reed says that even though know one quite knows whether offshore drilling will pollute the coastlines, he says "kindly old Doc McCain would like to sell it to ya anyway."

1. When it comes to the curnch our party isn't half as bad as some see.->

Democrats have never really been given the power to do what isright. I think they would of been more forceful without incidents of dubious anthrax myself. If we elect them the ball is all in their court, it's up to us. 2009 would bring them stronger power and a president to sign good bills into law, but it'll take patients government is a slow process. 30 years of hard work and America will be back in the game if we put the shoulder to the wheel.
