2. But, they aren't being careful, IMO, they keep throwing anything and
everything out there. Plus, they're hate spewing speeches have already let the genie out of the bottle. Them trying to say nice things now is only going to piss the bass off even more.

3. i don't believe this is the base
where are the other repugs? some are denouncing others are just keeping their distance. i don't see mccain bumper stickers everywhere like bushes were or yard signs either. the dude at my job that had the pres bush pic at his desk is joking about john mccain with me. he knows i am a liberal democrat. i think they are embarrassed. there are some fringey repubs but, they don't even speak to me at this point. i think they are like this close to calling me a terrorist and a mooslim. haha

4. It as obvious as it can get now!
Their white sheets are showing. You know whats really weird...I know a Hispanic guy at work
who by everything he says sounds like a white racsist, repug galore...but he's hispanic!
Every time W came to town he would make the Rocky Mtn. News cause he was the only one out
there for Bush. I keep telling him that if the ship went down and he was in the life boat with
George and laura and there was only enough food for two that he would be the first thrown overboard,
but he doesn't get it. "Look in the mirror...they hate you." I tell him...but he doesn't care.
Sometimes he makes the bile rise in my throat.:puke:

8. In 2004 there were quite a few bush Latinos.
I lived in a neighborhood that was primarily Latino/Mexican immigrant and I think the majority of them supported bush. When I would talk to them about the election they would mostly just smile and say nothing, but I knew that they were not listening. As for the white sheet thing, you don't have to be white to be prejudice against those that are different than you. My ex (a Latino with mixed heritage) is one of the most prejudice people you would ever want (or not) to meet. He is a Democrat and is going to vote for Obama, but that may be because our children are so strong on the issue. He lives in red neck country and is just fine with it, even though he gets called the 'N' word sometimes and treated like an idiot most of the time.

10. everywhere that slavery touched the shores, you will see this
division. the more affluent hispanics are more conservative. the south american folks are very racist against blacks and indians (native peoples of their country). europeans came in and did the same crap-took their lands and their religions. brought in slavery and marginalized everyone. so the more european appearing folks or more affluent folks look down on everyone else. this is a very general description and maybe someone of latino descent could explain better. i see it as same crap, different country.

6. Which is is?
First they say Obama is an "Elitist" and when that didn't work, they say he is "of the street". Can't they just make up their minds already?
