NO on discrimination. NO on California Prop 8.

(in fact CA, NO is a pretty good starting point
for all CA propositions. Start with NO, then (if time permits) see if
you understand what the hell they are talking about through
all the double triple negatives , mostly its BS, then for the occasional
one that actually catches your interest see if there are any REALLY any
GOOD REASONS to do it that outweigh the really BAD THINGS it also does,
and only then consider a yes vote.

Examples:

CA Prop 2. Humane treatment of food animals.
GOOD= Humane treatment of animals (could mean more humane treatment of people too)
BAD= Probably will slightly raise prices of poultry products.
Vote your conscience.

CA Prop 8.
GOOD= Discriminates between "straight" and "gay"
BAD = Discriminates between "straight" and "gay" couples by overwriting equal protection of law.
False= "restores traditional marriage". That isn't what it does.
(Actually there is no "GOOD" on this. Just vote NO on 8)
