And Johnson. Even back in the 50's and 60's it was getting out of fashion and they had to make sure not to do so in public appearances like FDR did. I don't think Nixon smoked, but Pat was a smoker (died of lung disease).

Reagan smoked and did ads for Chesterfield, but quit some time in the 60's.
