Blag was invoved in "pay to play" and wse should believe that he actually thought this Governor, after having done many "well known abuses" ( having previously convicted of such)would evaluate the Senate candidates on qualifications? Gimme a break.

9. Still wants that Senate seat?
He did say that he really still wants that Senate seat. I guess he had to respond but to use the opportunity to say he really wants that Senate seat. I don't think it matters at this point anyway, but someone needs to get him some new advisors. It's like selling life insurance at a funeral. Sad thing is that he would still be a better Senator than any Republican. But that's not really even a compliment these days. Senatorial politics is really a blood sport. Can't get in the gladiators' ring and say someone played you when they are already coming at you with swords just for sport.
