1. As far as US law is concerned, Cheney admitted to torture. As far as
international law is concerned, Cheney admitted to torture.

As far as the entire fucking world is concerned, Cheney admitted that America is not only NOT better than anyone else, it's WORSE than many, because Cheney admitted to TORTURE.

AMERICA TORTURES PEOPLE; it's US government official policy.

As it was in Saddam Hussein's government.

20. Oh yeah...I have a better idea--let's create another Congressional commission...
...to determine how completely useless and full of shit Congressional commissions are.

Wait...or better yet, let's just prop our spineless selves up in front of a camera and talk about it some more.

Oh good...that's what the Dems are doing...again.

Better yet, along as they continue to f__k us, what don't THE ALL GO F__K THEMSELVES!

And...thank you.

22. How can other countries trust Obama-the-Good-Cop when the Bad Cop
is openly beyond the control of the Good Cop?

I support Russia's & France's astute distrust of Obama. When Democrats refused to impeach, the RETURN of the fascist Neocons is ensured.

28. "When Democrats refused to impeach"
Therein lies the crux of the matter. Why have they not impeached? Because they are complicit.

29. If you are correct, that they are complicit, and I believe you are correct,
then the entire salvation of the planet depends on Obama's endgame.

I do hope, but hope is not a strategy.

Obama should presume that his entire existence is wiretapped. They know his next move at all times. Yet his disasterous comments in San Francisco during the primaries ("people cling to religion and guns") shows that he probably doesn't believe he's under 24/7 surveillance.

I know the White House is swept for devices, but the entire NSA/CIA/DOD is filled with Cheney Sleeper Cells.

Obama's fucked.

30. Here is my complete...
jaded view on the matter- It doesn't matter who you vote into congress. Every one of those SOB's (well, a few good ones, like Kucinich, excepted) are bought and paid for. The only candidates we will ever get a chance to vote for have been pre-approved by the corporate powers that run this country. The only important job in our government is naming Supreme Court justices- and that is why I still vote Democrat. Truthfully, to get the power back to the people, means having another French Revolution- off with their heads.

12. Obama would have to do it without congress."Let's move on, don't dwell on the past"
Makes me want to puke that some are saying this.

13. "Filibuster" would be much harder a word to use...
... if "torture" was used more often. This needs to be referred to as TORTURE, and it needs to be referred to as such 24/7. No more of this "enhanced techniques" or "special techniques" or "harsh techniques" bullshit. It's TORTURE. You call it torture, and enough people will get on board to make the Republicans think twice about "filibuster."

5. Great game of "dodge ball"......"the next administration needs to..."
So....we have no government body now? We have mayhem for the next 30+ days as these criminals walk freely on the streets of our nation?

Good God...what has this country become? We have Satan's spawn, dick-head cheney, admitting to his role in torture, and we just pass it off to the next administration to deal with.

Our country is NOT a nation of laws for the people and by the people. It is a nation of crime where those in power can steam roll OVER the people and get away with it SCOTT FREE.

Nice going. Our founding fathers are ALL rolling over in their graves these days.

14. Levin pointed out the current Justice Department won't do anything.
The Senate can investigate, but they don't indict nor prosecute. That's for the Justice Department. And where would the current Injustice Department find a prosecutor with any integrity? Those guys got fired long ago.

7. Want to improve America's "image"? Then prosecute
Want to window-dress America's image with strategically crafted lies and words? Then pretend a report is accountability.

Absolutely NOTHING - as usual...

I'm tired of being upset and angry about this...

Nothing will change.

19. You have motive, opportunity, ability, pre-authorization, and post confession.
But do you have evidence Cheney was involved in any way? You ought to know by now the Republicans will not hesitate to say this. Followed by, well "hindsight is 20/20." DUH! That's EXACTLY how we solve crimes. Hindsight IS 20/20.

24. Go Ms. Maddow and Senator Levin!
This is VERY encouraging! We political activists KNOW this stuff, but it's GREAT that "normal" (read ignorant) people need to get used to the idea that our President (and ALL of his men/women) are criminals. Keep this up! Rate it high to give it traction! Glenn Greenwald has a piece of this today! YES WE CAN!
