Cheney claims that 'waterboarding stopped attacks'. If asked exactly how did that work? What detainee? What kind of information? What kind of attack? By who? Let's see he would say, 'oh sorry that's classified top secret so I can't give you that information'. Which means what he is really saying is
'trust me. would I lie to you? That's the way it happened just trust me'. Cheney lies so much that if he told me the sun was out I would still have to look outside to make sure.

...what Cheney thinks? His administration was wrong headed and headed in the wrong direction for 8 fucking years. They failed so miserably their party is practically defunct.
