The UK is upset with the online camera that is available to anyone on Google and gives a 360 degree view of private homes and businesses. It's zoom lens can almost film you inside - it's that close...

I don't know why Google would even want to do this. What the point? The Brits have enough problems with their government putting up cameras everywhere. Now Google too? That's wierd!

2. so is this about the still cameras or a video camera?
they been doing the camera shots from the top of a car on roadways in the U.S. for a long while now...

i dont see a problem with it so long as its never done with live imagery(which wont be happening because of costs)... ive never seen a shot in those pictures(with 360 views) on google earth that would be so sharp as to let u see in someones house... they can barely make out any signs in the near distance ...

3. Well, whatever you do..please don't advocate ...

people buying paint-ball guns or superglueing the cameras for heaven's sake.
That would just be ...ummmm wrong...yes thats it..it would be just plain wrong to advocate people getting rid of the cameras that way.
There have got to be better ways. Please post any you might think of, even legal ways would be good.:tinfoilhat:

4. I would be wary of this "Google"...
...they track all of your web searches, your email (gmail), they have camera crews driving around recording everything, along with satellite cameras in the sky, and now, perhaps, they can look INTO your windows?!

Sounds like NSA or related territory to me, so excuse me while I don my tinfoil helmet.

Whatever. Privacy is apparently a thing of the past.

5. I found this video
to be very irritating.
I normally 'listen' to videos while reading other data elsewhere and the fact that I had to 'stop' all other activities while figuring out what this video was about was annoying. If someone is going to make a video with sound then they should at least have someone vocalizing the issue.
