1. I'll have to admit that I don't understand macro-economics enough to be sure of anything

but I'm afraid Cenk's right.

And too-big-to-fail is definitely too-big-to-exist.

7. I just had my eyes opened today - the media never told us that Chrysler
Edited on Fri May-08-09 11:47 PM by truedelphi
Actually had several big time, definite loan sponsors and investors ready to assist Chrysler with their bottom line - and the government woul dnot allow those financial interests to make the deals.

In fact, as I type this, Oppenheimer Funds is attempting to sue the Federal Government for not following the law! Bankruptcy law as written for this type of matter clearly protects Chrysler in handling its affairs as it wants to. Chrysler has investors lined up - government shoots Chrusler down. Meanwhile, the big banks that are falling apart are probably gonna receive another round of BailOuts. And that means more grief for us tax payers.

And like Cenk says, what you hear on the media is only what the Big Powers that be want you to hear.

2. I thought the same thing
They need 75 billion and it's a passing grade?

I should have gone into banking. No such thing as fail. Ever.

Unless you are an American taxpayer. Then there is failure aplenty.
