After the South Dakota decision concerning a women's right to choose came down, Chyrisse Tabone was compelled to make a short film concerning abortion. She filmed women who had abortion's between the mid-1940s to late-1960s. The stories are raw and gripping. To provide a "counterpoint" she interviewed women protesting at an abortion clinic in Ocala, Florida. The women stand outside the clinic with a clipboard, count the patrons, and record license tag numbers. They reportedly call the women on the phone after the visit. The misinformation they spew in the film about "abortion mills" is terrifying. They insist the issue is "all about the money" and discount the life of the mother saying, "What life of the mother? Not these days...what? A hang nail?"

People need to know how it USED to be when abortion was illegal...and contrast with what we are up against today--anti-choice zealots.

Young people, especially college students, take it for granted that safe legal abortions are here to stay.
