1. It's not a view exclusive to Scientologists

That idea has been out there for probably as long as human society has been around, to varying degrees of prevalence. I think change is possible. It's going to be hard to attain, but it's possible.

People can change. When I was younger and immature I held some homophobic and sexist beliefs. I now want equality for everyone. I realized that I was afraid of even entertaining the idea of an alternate view that challenged my view. Once I started to do that it opened up my mind.
