5. Not only that,
but under the fiduciary laws of the United States it would be illegal for capitalism to have a soul, even if an "ism" could have such a thing.

6. Capitalism is like water.
It has no concience.
It seeks the path of least resistance.
It isn't a political system.
With proper controls and restrictions it can be put to good use.
But it can also be very destructive when restrictions fail.

7. There is a simple answer:
(1) Income tax rates of 90% on the most wealthy.

(2) Inheritance taxes to confiscate unwarranted wealth.

8. Epstein, like other Ayn Rand groupies, always have such a simplistic answer to the markets.

He talked about that person he happened to have seen earlier in the day who was downtrodden. Epstein blamed that person's situation on the restrictive economy he lives under. Doesn't Epstein live under the same system? Do Ayn Rand followers have a different economy/society or something?

I'll bet that if Epstein runs into a catastrophic event some time in his life, he'll have an epiphany about laissez-faire economics.

You confront people like him with facts and evidence on how laissez-faire capitalism doesn't work, they try to turn the tables on you by saying that that economic disaster was not a product of a lack of regulation. They'll talk about some nebulous situation that should have been allowed to happen that would have prevented the disaster.

You can never win an argument with these people. The only merit in giving them air time is to show people like us how off-the-charts kooky and delusional they are.

9. Who wants to bet this punk is living off a 7-figure trust fund?
I've yet to meet a Randyass who's ever had to work for a living.
