12. I used to work with a gal who claimed Halloween was the devil's birthday.

I always thought that sounded like one of those bizarre leaps in christian "logic"- I'm pretty sure the Bible never mentions Halloween, or has any reference to when the devil was "born" -now, would that be reckoned as when God created him, or when he fell from grace?- If I'm not mistaken, both supposedly happened before there was a calendar, so this belief must be the result of some evangelist minister arbitrarily declaring Halloween as Satan's birthday.

These youngsters have the right to believe anything they want even if it's worshiping Zeus's balls. I have the right to laugh at them or agree with them. Yet it amazes me that these same kids would probably laugh at the Romans for worshiping Jupiter or the Greeks for their belief in Zeus. Happy Haloween!
