1. A somewhat older but still interesting voice.
He still has it.

3. Come Senators, Congressmen
please heed the call
Don't stand in the doorway
Don't block up the Hall
for he that gets hurt
will be he who has stalled
there's a battle outside and it's
raging...

And it will soon shake your windows
and rattle your walls
for the Times they are a
changing...

As true today as it was in 1964. Maybe more so.

10. not to put too fine an edge on it
but maybe they should make the filibuster a contact sport. You can filibuster all you want, but while you do so, it is legal for others to physically harm you.

for things are gonna slide, slide in all directions, if we don't stop these thugs from destroying everything America has ever stood for worth preserving.

5. So has anyone heard what happened with Dylan last night ???
Edited on Wed Feb-10-10 07:40 PM by Tx4obama

I watched the live stream last night...
After Dylan sang his song (Times are a Changing) he looked like he was going to sing another song, someone went up towards the stage and said something to him, then he took the guitar strap off from around his neck, and he walked off of the stage.
He didn't come back out at the end of the program with all the other performers ;(
Weird!

15. Are the Clintons laughing at Bob's weird voice?
Looks like it to me. They start to laugh when he begins to sing.

13. Speaking of Songs, and Voices
Here's a voice you may not have heard yet, and the lyrics to both songs are great.

14. So, when he's at the White House, he actually does his best to sing...
Believe me when I say I'm a huge fan of Bob, but... Have you seen him in concert lately? He's not singing anymore. He's just mumbling all lyrics really fast, and doing all songs in the same way. Like he really doesn't want to sing them and wants to get out of there as soon as he can. Like he doesn't care anymore.

Yet, when you hear him on his recent albums, like 'Modern Times' or 'Together through life', he sounds so great and passionate. I couldn't wrap my head around the gaping difference between his record and his live performances. It seems when he's in front of an 'important person' like the president, he will do his very best, but in front of just another audience... not so much.
