Ana Kasparian's a bit out of line toward the end. The original video has been scrubbed from what I gather.

1. What, exactly, is out-of-line about her comments?
Sounds like a perfectly valid observation to me.

2. I don't think
her comments have the appropriate amount of sympathy for a senior citizen who made an attempt to go to the front of the bus to avoid conflict, did not throw the first punch, and is a Vietnam Vet who most likely suffers from PTSD and other conditions. She later apologized for what she said, and this video contains what she said.

3. Still, he WAS baiting the young man
Despite his protestations at the beginning of the film that his comment could have just as well been directed toward a 'Chinaman,' a reference to shoe-shining only has relevance to an African American. He made another comment on his way to the front of the bus - unintelligible to the camera microphone - to which a woman took umbrage. He continued to goad the young man from his seat at the front of the bus. Taken together, the bearded one is far from blameless in this confrontation, even though the young man was wrong in throwing the first punch.

4. My point is that Ana
jumped to a conclusion without doing the appropriate research. Why do you assume she offered an apology later? Because she felt she was perfectly solid in her previous commentary?

8. I saw nothing resembling an apology
but she does admit feeling more sympathy after hearing him tell his side of the story. Interestingly, Cenk says that he feels less inclined to go along with the story after seeing the the man clearly has serious mental issues.

For my part, I have no problem with the older man pummeling the younger one, as it's clearly in self-defense. I still have questions about what was said beforehand, however, but it still doesn't justify the assault - no matter what was said.

9. The apology is on another later video.
It's floating around on the political video forum somewhere.

10. I know the one to which you're referring
and I still didn't see an apology - just greater awareness similar to my own increase in awareness after viewing it.

6. That poor young man is a convicted felon out on parole.
He assaulted an old man. No way to defend him.

7. I'm NOT defending the younger guy
but I'm also not absolving the older guy from any responsibility either. He's interviewed in another video that's covered by TYT, where he tells a tale about his actual shoes and getting them actually shined, ostensibly by 'his boy,' meaning his son. Based on the cock-and-bull stories that then follow, his entire narrative is put in question. The younger man deserved to get his ass pounded for asaulting the older one, m'kay, so drop your stance that I'm 'defending him.' Jesus H. Crispy! Some people are sofa king willing to make a comment into something that it is not!

14. where did you get that information from?
I've seen that claimed several times, but I've never seen a source for that claim, other than a later interview with Thomas Bruso (which is not exactly reliable). Do you have a source for it?

13. Ana Kasparian was out of line
I found commentary from the guy's part as actually being informative, interesting, and funny. But Ana just swears like a sailor, calling the guy a "loser" and psychopath. I haven't heard the word "loser" since high school, and doing more than just selective background search to make this guy look bad, you'll find he's a Vietnam veteran (and there's a HUGE difference between the emotional trauma of being a Vietnam vet and being a psychopath.)

5. Bottom line: Old guy walked away from a fight.
Other guy followed him and assaulted a sitting man from a standing position.

What said or wasn't said is irrelevant. I have been called all kinds of stuff from crazy people in subways.

11. Here are other related videos
The White bearded Guy is a Vietnam (Throw away Vet by Federal government) Vet - who appears to have mental issues still today from the fact that he was part of that police action.

And this is just normal fukt up behavior that is becoming more common in the great nation of the USA.

Just watch the videos.
