1. London UK ... where people know about politics only what's on the news headlines...

London is a bad example. You might think that where british reserve and culture rule, there is actually a balanced point of view. sadly not.
UK is not a friendly place to Jews nor Israelis, for many years. Although the population is very uninvolved and unknowledgabe about politics (international as well as their own), they have an unchangeable opinion about Israel which is no more educated then newspapers headlines.

Luckily, their government actions are much more balanced. Unfortunately, Tony Blair left the UK politics to Brown who lost it to Cameron.

2. Tony Blair - a more balanced approach then anti-israeli UK demonstrations

In the previous post, I wrote about the UK population (anti-israeli) vs the British government (much more balanced).
5min later I found an interview in BBC, with Tony Blair, which shows what "balanced opinion" means:
1. "israel has the right, and indeed the duty, to protect itself"
2. "how do we let Gazans rebuild their life"
3. "the Hamas unlawfuly took over Gaza"

Tony Blair has the attribute of a forward looking perspective, with a balanced view. no blaming (because both are actually wrong); only looking for solution.
The demonstrations in UK streets, are looking only back, and with anti-israeli view. blaming israeli only, a solution is not really important (since there is a scape goat.. israel)
