People starve, for the most part because we let them. Illness can be greatly impacted positively by US... NOW!

All of this religious horse shit gets in the way. A sane Progressive America that doesn't run around FUCKING countries for their resources could do more than any religion! But you can't blame "Satan" for its not being the reality. We can only blame ourselves. We create Hell on Earth for millions of people RIGHT NOW. And we could stop it RIGHT NOW.

9. How About a Little Humanity in Religion?

Isn't it crazy how these Christian wingnuts believe that they
can assure their entry into heaven by making life hell on
earth for others, and the poor?  In my book, any religion that
is devoid of humanity and compassion is a fake religion!  

When I lived in Japan, my homestay mother told me a Buddhist
parable:  A Bodhisattva up in paradise took compassion on a
demon suffering in hell who was begging to be rescued.  The
Bodhisattva sent down a lotus root filament, as fine as that
of a spider's web, for the poor sinner to climb up on.  He
started climbing, and the lotus filament proved amazingly
strong, and could easily support his weight.  Lots of other
tormented souls in hell, seeing him, started to follow him by
also climbing up the lotus filament.  Eager to keep this
privilege all to himself, the demon sinner tried to kick the
others off the filament with his foot, and the sudden jerk of
his kick was enough to break the fine filament and send him
and all the others tumbling back down into hell.  

These wingnut fundamentalist Christians just don't get it,
they don't get Jesus' message at all when they claim stuff
like Jesus would be against universal healthcare.  Their fear
and lack of love and compassion for others have made them
terminally selfish and paranoid.

Like all other human constructs, religion changes over time, and from group to group.

Take Saxon England. As Christianity spread through the Saxon tribes, they abandoned their old war gods and adopted Jesus and his deciples as their new war Gods. They were blood thristy Christians.

You find the same thing happening everywhere. I think these wingnuts are every bit as fervant, relgious, and faithful as the non-wingnut christians. They believe and I see no reason to disparage that belief even if I find what they believe in abhorant.

12. Note to the so-called moderate Christians...

The Bible is nothing more than the writings of Bronze Age Men for Bronze Age Men. People act shocked at how Right Wing Christians can act as they do by embracing violence, war, torture, discrimination, incest, child rape and hatred toward the poor, elderly & disabled...READ YOUR BIBLE! Read the whole thing as it is without making excuses for anything JUST READ THE DAMN BIBLE!

If you do this you will completely understand two things...

1. Why Right Wing Christians do and say what they do

2. And that so-called moderates are living a lie or have not read their Bibles.

And hopefully if you are a so-called moderate Christian and you do actually start reading the Bible from the Beginning of Genesis and read all the way to the end of Revelation without trying to make excuses then maybe you will finally see who you have been in bed with all this time. Plus, you will see you can't be a Christian without embracing the the Old Testament like Jesus did. Seriously, Bronze Age ideas belong in, well, the BRONZE AGE!

Pushing this Bronze Age Religion to the back of society lies on the backs of the so-called moderates...The Fundies can do and act like normal sane citizens as long as they have the protection of numbers which the so-called moderates give them...That is if you actually believe the idea that moderates make up the majority of Christians in America, I DON'T! Or maybe the so-called moderates are like "Good Cops" who simply do not say anything out of fear of being called a snitch or in the case of Moderate Christians an ATHEIST! In both cases the good becomes just as bad as the bad!

Would love to see that I am wrong but the way this country is going I know I am not!
