4. Simply not true
The way I look at is this: if you remove all the corporate dick sucking from a progressive politician, you're left with a progressive. If you remove the corporate dick sucking from a conservative politician, you're still left with a god-fearing dip-shit.

And I do believe it is fair to assert that were congressional Democrats to have unchallenged ability to pass laws, we'd have a lot more of the progressiveness we're looking for.

5. Republicans ALWAYS try to say there is no difference in either party -
Edited on Fri Jul-16-10 08:45 PM by LaPera
Hoping people will ignore republican ideology, saying there's no difference benefits republicans always....because people will give the party of the rich & corporations a try if indeed there is no difference....republicans are ALWAYS behide the - "there's no difference between the two parties" bullshit!

As if Dems want corporate deregulation, or republican want unemployment insurance for workers or corporations to be responsible for polluting the planet, or prioritizing Social Security, or want health care for all, or like republican care about workplace safety or workers benefits or higher wages of course the republicans don't, never have they are the party of corporations and slime....There's a big difference between democrats and republicans.

And it's the reason why republican receive more than 80% of corporate donations compared to less than 20% for democrats.....and then there's the republicans who pretend to be democrats Like Ben nelson, Blanche Lincoln and many others who take and give Dems a bad name.

Republican try very hard to convince people there is no differnce between the two parties....Don't believe republicans for a second!

6. I'm sick of this f**king BS already
If you're someone that is going to spread BS about how the parties are the same, then when the GOP is back in power I don't want to hear shit from you. AT ALL. NOT A WORD. You're either with us or you're fucking against us. Because of BS like this there are actually some Indies who were on the fence and you just lost us votes. Save this BS for after election season, unless you're fucking happy about the idea of republican fascism. Its like we're all masochists, you don't see their guys, Beck, Hannity, Limbaugh, etc, EVER say anything bad about the GOP. Here we are like a bunch of fucking cannibals eating our young. Its 3 months until election season, everyday we should be bashing the GOP for the shitstorm they handed over, EVERYDAY!

When did we all become such pu**ies? We are the same Left that has organized some of the largest most beautiful displays of democracy in history, we have won many battles, and now everyone wants to give up? Get the word out, start a revolution, make a viral video, make viral photoshop stuff, tell everyone you know, take over the internet with flyers, videos, whatever, because if there is one thing I do know for a fact is that the other side WILL BE OUT VOTING in November, in FULL FORCE. Has Obama been perfect? Of course not, NO president ever has been, but in my 30 yrs on this planet I can honestly say he is the best president I have ever lived through, he's only human, surrounded by rabid reactionary republicans, who the fuck was everyone expecting, Jesus Christ? Bush had 8 yrs and every fucking day, 24hrs a day, foxnews did everything they could to lie to America and try putting a happy face on the Bush regime, and what do we get? Fucking cannibals.

11. i get tired of the left falling for this type of right wing framing
this is straight out of the reich-wing playbook, to create voter political despondency. The majority of americans are center-left in political ideology, so the right-wing's best and proven tactics are to divide the vote, or better yet discourage votes

16. There IS a difference between the Parties.
The Republicans could have NEVER passed Mandates without a Public Option.
It took the Democrats to do THAT.

The Republicans FAILED at "reforming" Social Security.
The same people who "reformed" Health Insurance will probably be successful here too.
