2. We had one roll in pretty fast yesterday. It caught my son out on the water in a boat and
he was stuck there for the duration.

10. I just got back from two weeks of storm chasing
This is a bow echo in a squall line, kicking up a nice shelf cloud in front of it. A few more minutes and no one is going to want to be anywhere near that beach. We came across a supercell thunderstorm in Moorcroft, WY that overtook us very quickly and we barely escaped...we got the tennis-ball hail, but Moorcroft got pounded with baseball to softball sized hail that unfortunately did damage.

But storms sometimes move in very rapidly in the U.S., too -- particularly tornadoes in Tornado Alley.
