3. "Kenyan anti-colonial behavior" is the same as "American anti-colonial behavior".

One of the biggest items of contention between the US and the UK in the years leading up to WWII and immediately after was the status of the UK's overseas possessions - like Kenya. The US worked to support those anti-colonial movements when we could, and to get the UK to divest herself of them.

It's a small idea called the "right to self-determination", and been a cornerstone of US foreign policy for over a century.
