Summary: In this week's Random Rush, where http://samsedershow.com/|Sam Seder> listen to 60 seconds of Rush Limbaugh at random, Rush's incoherent attack on liberal's love of evolution throws Sam for a loop.

4. Not sure how old Petraeus is, but I suspect he's got his eyes on a presidential run
maybe not against Obama, but in 2016. Possibly 2012.
Petyraeus is no Eisenhower, and I would be hard pressed to ever vote for a general.

3. In my experience
It is the neotards that scream survival of the fittest. Like it is one of "the" commandments.
"If they can't (insert here), then they don't deserve to survive."
I am sure rush has said that many, many times.....

5. Limbaugh says that liberals
don't believe in survival of the fittest i.e effete liberals restrain real alpha men like Rushbo in their Nietzschesque quest to live up to the expectations of disappointed, domineering parents. In fact, if liberals didn't believe in restraining such drives in themselves, people like Limbaugh would have been been on the menu long ago. Maybe it's time for lunch.

6. So liberals suppsedly believe in survial of the fittest, but...
...work to bring that about by promoting mediocrity?

Not to mention liberals recognize the difference between Darwinism (part of science) and Social Darwinism (social justification trying to drape itself with a scinetific veneer. A modern equivalent is characterizing super-wealthy people as "the most productive", as a justification for lowering taxes on high incomes as "rewarding hard work").

Social Darwinism was a conservative invention.

7. Rush supports Survival Of The Fattest (heads)

Survival of the fittest might actually be true, but we'll never know because every generation we send so many off to die in senseless wars. Evolution and it's consequences don't stand a chance against the desire for power among humans. Thus it has ever been and it doesn't look like it will change anytime soon. More's the pity.

11. Thanks Ihavenobias!
I laughed at the 'bonus oxy moment', but as a southern woman I gave up on religion quite some time ago when I looked at the crazies around me who use it, but don't put it into practice.

It's rather refreshing, in a strange way, for people to tell the hubbie and me, "for agnostics, atheists, or whatever, you act more christian than most of us who proclaim to be."

We watched Inherit the Wind two nights ago for the 10000000th time.

Thanks again.
