Middle-class Kentucky families just can't afford Rand Paul's massive tax increase. Paul's latest out-of-touch scheme calls for placing a 23% sales tax on nearly everything Kentuckians buy.

4. Actually, the middle class would pay zero income tax. That's what a consumption tax is all about.
