research that they rewrote and twisted to justify the fiasco, at Modesto State Hospital.

it could have been a "Final Solution" program to just close the mental hospitals, the put schizophrenics in under staffed and under funded group homes without even fences and they just walked away.. Ronald Reagan's mental health program was a "Crime Against Humanity".

but under Fascist rule the poor, to be medically indigent or mentally ill is a Vice and they deserve what ever horrors and suffering they experience, there is no such thing as a compassionate conservative.. new research has shown that Conservative personalities have diminished mental functioning and perceptual dis-function. but the information has disappeared from the internet.. i cant seem to find it anymore, test showed the area in the brain called the 'Conflict Monitoring' , one study i saw said rethugs operate at 1/2 that of liberals

you refer to. I read it at Science Daily some weeks ago. It was no doubt lost on the conservative robots and the rest of us wonder why we had to spend money to study the obvious.

I am an atheist, but I believe that how we care for the least of us is the determining factor of who we are as a society. We no longer have a direction as a nation as to what we wish to achieve. Perhaps this is the downside of becoming the the sole superpower. Becoming that was not that great a goal to begin with, and after you reach it, what motivation do you give to proceed from there into something more.

Until we can care for our own, we cannot deflect our attention and resources to the rest of the worlds problems, concern and consultation yes, but national focus and finance must stay here to build our own house. If we fail to provide the world with a reason to become better humans, then we not only fail our own, we fail the world.

5. The old Nixon strategy...

"Make the economy scream"... This is textbook cold-war era statecraft. They did this to Iraq and Cuba and so many other countries. It's morally questionable, underhanded, and generally hurts the civilians not the govt. Not to mention Iran has made at least four peaceful diplomatic overtures during Bush's presidency, all of which have bben harshly rejected. Who's REALLY standing in the way of peace?? Newt sucks.
