6. Problems

I agree that it was only half executed. The audio was overdriven and the puppetry was just poor. It's clear the creator was doing both the puppetry and narration in one go; that's not the way you do something like this. He should have recorded the audio first, making adjustments as necessary to get it properly balanced, then did the puppetry to his own recording. That's how the actual Muppets were animated and it's not a hard thing to do even if you're working on your own. The concept is cute and has promise but the execution was just not very good.
