3. I don't want to be mean but...

Matt Damon is an absolute dumb fuck. Not neccessarily on this but I just can't get my head around anything the man says. I believe his heart is in the right place but his head is so far up his ass he has shit behind his ears

4. I was brought up by teachers too.

My father taught every grade from Kindegarten up through graduate level college courses in the New York SUNY system. My mother was also SUNY English prof. My stepmother was also a SUNY English prof. I went to public schools and I am very fortunate for all these things. Presently I teach English in the very same high school that I graduated from in 1990. We get payed dog shit. BUT! I love what I do and wouldn't trade it for the world. I plan to finish my grad work and eventually teach at the college here and do what my father did for 30 years-TEACH TEACHERS TO TEACH! In my family, as you may probably understand already, we have a great disdain for standardized testing as it doesn't teach creative thought. It's that simple folks.

I am also a teacher (retired). And I'm disturbed by the fact that you are an English teacher who cannot spell "paid" correctly. We all make spelling errors. But when you ID yourself as a teacher, PLEASE proof what you have written and/or use spell check. The profession is under enough criticism as it is.

6. We all make typing errors, especially when writing our thoughts and feelings in rough draft.

I drop "s" off the endings of words. I edit and fail to remove phrases that I was editing. Some of the time, I'll read over my post after I've hit post and find the error soon enough to fix it. Some of the time, I'll not find it in time to fix it.

Ain't none of us perfect. (Bad grammar intended.)
