8. That's even better. I love the way he let them make fools of themselves
trying to be funny, 'were do they go to the bathroom'?? That's funny? Not even among grade school students. He stayed quiet like a cat, and when they had completely bombed with the audience, he pounced on them with actual, serious, factual imformation and they were totally exposed as the irrelevant, morons they are.

He can be my spokesperson any time! The man is in possession of a rare commodity in the political world and the MSM, today. He has a BRAIN! :applause:

5. Fantastic take down of a Republican shill who is not even funny and
hasn't been for a long time. He should have known better than to try to take on Alan Grayson and would have had he ever watched him on the floor of Congress taking out his Republican heroes.

Grayson himself is a perfect example of what the Wall St occupiers are protesting. Huge amounts of corporate money were poured into the campaign to get him out of Congress because he was a threat to the corrupt Wall St. criminals. He was specifically targeted and more money was spent to remove him personally, than any other campaign.

Without that money, Grayson would still be in Congress. The people lost again because of the corporate money that has poisoned our electoral system.

The audience loved him and O'Rourke looked like an idiot who just lost a major fight and all Grayson had to do was tell the truth.

:applause:

52. Bill Maher didn't look very good either.
Edited on Sun Oct-09-11 03:48 PM by truedelphi
I felt like he and O'Rourke should have gotten a room, and once there, without the encumbrance of an audience, they could have merrily had porn, or hookers for that matter.

It seemed almost like it was a big hassle for Bill to think about having the show on - given that his only "progressive" issue at this point is pot smoking, not something Occupy Wall Street has made their front issue.

Happy Birthday, John.

6. I find it interesting that all the smarmy little worm O'Rourke could do
was try to ridicule with cliches that went out of fashion three decades ago. He couldn't manage to answer a single point.

And that, my friends, is why Republicans are finally going to go out of power. There is no "there" there and hasn't been for a very long time and a hell of a lot of people are waking up to that fact.

16. it's the classic "if the facts aren't on your side...use ad hominem attacks" strategy.
It's not poor widdle PJ's fault that all he could come up with were *lame* ad hominem attacks.

7. "Get the man a bongo drum". Jeez! O'Rourk is a total ass.
Maybe he was referring to Palin's poetry and I just don't get it?

Sucha predictable move for them to play the "filthy hippie" angle. Too bad I'm so far away from any of the big Occupations. I tend to look like a redneck.

Edited on Sat Oct-08-11 05:55 PM by sabrina 1
as you can, point out that they use bongo drums, that should get a laugh, except it didn't. He has the memo and it's old and jaded and tired and that's why no one laughed at his lame attempts to diminish the movement they are clearly scared to death of. I never realized though, how stupid he was before. I knew he was jerk, but I gave him far too much credit for having some intelligence.

Grayson wiped the floor with them and then stepped over them to acknowledge the standing ovation he received. His expression was priceless, and so was his smile at the end. It was truly a wonderful thing to watch. We need hundreds of him.

He ain't done a fucking thing since he got elected.
NOTHING.
I don't ever see him on the news, don't ever read about him in the papers, all he does is speak at Christo-Conservative functions down here and collect money.

Grayson was right: Taliban Dan.
Fuck, what a waste of an office.

I want Grayson back.

the last two years.

With the OWS, new options may be opening up for liberals and real Dems and we better get ready to take advantage of that opportunity. I'm talking about a credible write in in the primary.

Funny too, when he said that the Gov. of NJ was to big to fail.

Like Hank W., O'Rourke is the idiot town drunk and is embarrassing to anyone with a brain. With the exception of Grayson, the rest of the panel was not much better.
