1. Don't know the exact quote but ....
at his news conference yesterday he answered the question about torture as defined by the ... "United States, We do not torture". In other words as defined by his administration. And he wouldn't take any follow-up questions to the subject.

I took that as a "Yes we torture if you use the Geneva Convention standards, or any other international standard. The guy and his regime are international war criminals to say the least.

I really think that it is time for some member of Congress to refer to the president as a war criminal. Someone from a secure seat of course. Maybe Barbara Lee.

Or even Boxer Senator from CA.

It's probably some violation of arcane senate/house rules to say it on the floor but it could be said in a standard media venue.
