Larry the lobster joins with Casey the Crab? In Norway, a teevee chef demonstrated ....
.... the cooking of a crab. He dropped the live crab into a pot of boiling water ......

Now the case has gone to court. Norwegian crab advocates are suing over the distress of the crab. No verdict yet.

(as reported on my local 11.00 teevee newz, WJZ 13 in Baltimore)

How does this stuff happen? Has no one any sense of the absurd anymore?

2. I've actually been at a geisha house where the menu included a huge fish that was still alive.
I felt bad for the thing. Everyone was eating it, and it was still moving around. I finally gave it a shot of Suntory, a blindfold and a cigarette to put it out of its misery (to the huge applause of the table, who found the whole charade very amusing). It bit the cig in half as the Suntory went down, and then didn't move anymore.

That said, I can't see them going after a chef for cooking a crab in the standard method. Perhaps a bit of attention to the starving in Africa might give them a better sense of priorities.

3. OK, it's time for me to go to bed, because I'm hallucinating. I thought someone posted about
a lawsuit over someone boiling a crab.
