Novak: Rove Protege Tim Griffin Joins Thompson Campaign
FRED THOMPSON NEEDS TO BE HOUNDED WITH QUESTIONS & PROTESTS FOR HIRING A GUY INVOLVED IN DISENFRANCHISING AFRICAN AMERICAN VOTERS INCLUDING THOSE SERVING OVERSEAS IN MILITARY!

Novak: Rove-Protege Tim Griffin Joins Thompson Campaign

Robert Novak reports tonight that controversial former U.S. attorney in Arkansas Tim Griffin, who resigned last week, will join Fred Thompson’s presidential campaign as rumored:

Even before the official announcement of candidacy by former Sen. Fred Thompson (R-Tenn.), an all-star team of GOP operatives is gathering around him — Lawrence Lindsey, Ken Khachigian, Tim Griffin, Dave Bossie and Victoria Toensing, with more to follow.

Griffin, a former protege of Karl Rove, was formerly research director of the Republican National Committee. He became the poster boy for the politicization of the U.S. attorney process. Former Justice official Kyle Sampson noted that getting Griffin into office “was important to Harriet , Karl, et cetera.”

In 2004, BBC News published a report showing that Griffin led a “caging” scheme to suppress the votes of African-American servicemembers in Florida.

UPDATE: Atlantic Monthly’s Marc Ambinder adds: “Griffin is advising Thompson on communications and message and will probably be a consultant to Thompson’s presidential campaign.”

3. lookit the date. this is probably not true anymore, especially considering
Griffin's tearful speech in Arkansas last week

I don't think Thompson hired him

I hope he did, though

7. I just looked after you mentioned the date, which I missed...
and found nothing to refute his involvement in Thompson's campaign. I wouldn't put it past ole Fred to keep him on (as a consultant) and utilize his skills. Until the Thompson Campaign renounces Tim and his illegal antics in voter supression, the campaign needs to be hounded.

Also on Victoria Toensing, her ethics need to be brought in question as to why she refuses to acknowledge Ms Plame's covert status despite congressional records that indicate otherwise.

Unethical & illegal behavior for political gain needs to be exposed for what it is!

5. Gosh, he's just a wee bit politically tone deaf, ain't he?
Vote for Thompson: He's More of the Same!

Tarnished by Bush? Work for Thompson!

6. All the usual suspects gathering around Thompson
This will be the kiss of death for him. The public has not dumbed down since bush took over. Just the opposite. What good thing has been said regarding Rove? He is no brainstein. Arrogance only works for so long and then it bites you in the butt. Rove's glory days are over. And all those other hateful, evil hangeroners from Their glory days. Watch this baby sink (Thompson).

8. That makes it official.
Rove is the bus driver on the Fred Thompson campaign bus. Fred is a surrogate Bush brother. He's the BFEE's man. He's a continuation of the Bush administration. Vote for Fred in 2008 because no failure is complete unless it's a complete failure.
