1. Yes, and I really like them
As art, they are fantastic. As a politcal commercial, not so much!

2. Oh I totally disagree.
Mike Gravel is the talk of the office watercooler - which tells me the ads achieved the intended purpose - get people asking questions about Mike Gravel.

I think the ads are politically BRILLIANT.

3. Yeah.
I liked them and seeing the idiot David Shuster on Monday
trying to make Mike look stupid made me support him even more.

4. I don't think David Shuster is an idiot
I'd much rather see "Shuster" than "Tucker."

5. They make a lot of sense once explained....

He mostly did the ads to support some art students, showing that he has belief in art and the young. Also he explains yes in the advert he looks serious and things are serious and yes the advert is scary and things are scary so it encapsulates a lot really.

6. they are an absolute waste
The producers of these had to explain them to Gravel after they were done. If he did not understand the point going in to them, how does he expect anyone else to understand their disjoint symbolism. They will be joke pinned on him.

and . . . the worst point . . . he had to do multiple takes of the rock ad.
