Police: Walter Reed Security Guard Shot At Another Guard
Suspected Gunman Allegedly Thought Target Called Him 'Stupid'

WASHINGTON -- D.C. police are reviewing surveillance video to get more details about an argument between two Walter Reed Army Medical Center security guards that led to gunfire.

The shots were fired at about 8:45 a.m. Wednesday at the main entrance near Georgia Avenue and Dahlia Street in Northwest, with cars whizzing by and pedestrians on the sidewalk. No one was hit, but police said several people had to duck to avoid the flying bullets. At least two cars across the street were hit by the gunfire.
