Moore has repeatedly said he does not care if any one watches it for free as long as they do not sell copies. Moore said it is no worse than buying a DVD and loaning it to all your friends to watch. Also consider in these trying economical times, that is the only way some people can afford to watch it and it is a message everyone needs to hear.

6. He's not the distributer of the movie. Lionsgate is the distributer.

They will protect their product which is not the film itself but the control of the distribution of it. The wishes of the producer/owner of the film will be taken into consideration but they aren't distributing the film as an act of charity.

I can't say for certain of course. But Moore's intent in making the film is to inform. I would suspect his intent is well known to the production house.

I said I'm sure they are going to handle it differently than other movies they distribute, but they are going to protect it to a certain extent.
