I wonder why not.

4. Perhaps to avoid people questioning his motives?
Certainly we can expect those politicians who showed up to get a bit tarred and feathered. Rhetorically speaking of course.

Or first time President Bush has been attacked?

First time for what?

24. The first time that chimpy has ever cared about public opinion.
My guess is that he missed this photo-op because he was too drunk to get out of bed this morning.

7. Yeah - the only positive things that can be said about Bush's Presidency at this point
is that sometimes he didn't quite f@%# up as badly as humanly possible.

Some legacy, hunh?

8. It is incredibly challenging
trying to find something that that fuck has done right throughout his entire life. I see that the officials at the funeral put all the politicians way in the back. Good for them.

19. Not only that but the newspaper isn't even
acknowledging they are here. At least not yet. I don't want to think what the broadcast media is doing with it...I refuse to tune in to what I know will be a dog and phony show (that was originally a typo but I realized it fit).

on the firefighters' wives. His '(in)famous' hugs always make the huggees feel ALL better, doncha know? Oh well, there'll always be a next time, I guess...

25. A real president would have gone
too bad we don't have one.

In 1999 six fire fighters died in a warehouse fire in Massachusetts, it shook the town, President Clinton came and gave a wonderful memoriam. I was there, my 10yo son shook the President's hand.
