This has to be a first. In its new poll, Fox News asked what may well be the ultimate in jingoistic, rally-around-the-flag questions — and the Democrats came out on top.

If there is an all-out war between the United States and various radical Muslim groups worldwide, who would you rather have in charge — Democrats or Republicans?

Democrats 41%
Republicans 38%
Both the same

Wait, it gets even stranger:
Some Americans are radical Christians, some are moderate Christians, some are Orthodox Jews, and some are radical athiests, (though that last group is barely tolerated).

Some even identify with one of thousands of other religions or traditions that you've probably never heard of.

Point, if it needs driving home: The question seems to assume that 'American' means 'Christian', and 'Muslim' means 'one who should be shot'.

Which is about as un-American as you can get. IOW, par for the course for FAUX.
