3. The charm campaign the media went on for Roberts was really disgusting
There was evidence aplenty to show what he was. It got bowled over by the image issues most coverage focused on.

4. And Rice couldn't be happier to destroy Affirmative Action
Even though she personally used it as HER stepping stone.
It is unforgivable.

5. he is the incompetent who is where he is because of his race
but he wants to deny qualified and able minority students the help they need to compete and get ahead in a world that still has prejudice against them.

7. Throwing up a little in my mouth after reading the subject line of your post.
Thank goodness you spoke up in defense of the "minority students" who earn your stamp of approval. MKJ

8. I disagree. He's where he is because he's a sellout. BushCo
is full of them and they come in all sizes, shapes and colors.

9. i agree, but they did want a token in this case
usually it's to make white voters feel better about voting Republican and allow themselves to think they aren't racist.

Clarence Thomas rarely gives his opinion and the times he does is when it's trying to justify these cases usually affecting mostly minorities.

6. And what leads you to that conclusion?"Return blacks to a state of slavery" is an icky choice
of words.

Your post is high on the creepy-o-meter scale. MKJ

16. There's a xenophobic tone that emanates which seems to embrace rather than abhor the idea.

And, I was hoping you could enlighten as to which ruling or opinion specifically would work to make citizens of one ethnicity rather than another, slaves. MKJ

he's an asshole, but I guarantee you he would NOT vote to return blacks to slavery,

15. Thurgood Marshall told him "you're not fit to shine my shoes".
Justice Marshall was a man of great wisdom.

After today's decision reversing Brown v. Board, a case that Mr. Marshall argued for the plaintiffs as an attorney, he's undoubtedly red lining the marble tachometer.

18. Now that he has 'his', he doesn't care about the rest
Similar to Condileeza Rice, who, having obtained her position through affirmative action, is now against it.
