They keep talking about the fact that there was "smoke in the car," but never expand on that...was the guy SMOKING, by chance? Was it thick white or black smoke, or just cigarette-y wisps? John Roberts doesn't bother to ask. Instead he asks "That smoke coming from the car; could it indicate this device was about to go off? Of course it would have had a devastating affect and certainly killed or injured many people (paraphrased)!" Not even and ATTEMPT to explain the "smoke," just drum-beating the fear tom toms.
