NO mention of the SCOTUS decisions while I watched the "news" yesterday. (rant)

I gamely watched Hardball, Countdown, and even Scarborough Country (since Abrams was on it) while I did some housework.

Not a mention of reversals of two landmark decisions (Brown vs. BOE, Sherman anti-trust/price-fixing), both of which had GD understandably livelier than usual (thank the universe/your chosen divine spirit/Satan/whom-whatever).

It's the gawddam corrupt, lazy, media that is killing democracy. I even watched a clip of Meredith Viera interviewing some WWE guy about the Benoit murder/suicide and thought to myself, no--SCREAMED to myself--"WHY THE HELL WEREN'T YOU THAT TOUGH WHEN YOU TALKED ABOUT WMDs???"

Ah, well--thank you DU for not only knowing about it, but sparking intelligent debate (even the trolls were better than usual). You keep me sane, you really do.

Edit: I know about it, you know about it, but Buffy and Brett Pinot-Grigio and Bob and Sue Six-Pack don't--and that's how the neoCons get away with it.

1. Yes, but is sanity the best approach at this point?

2. Hey, but I'm sure they had a story on the I-Phone.
"Newsy" enough for you?

3. Olbermann and Abrams both had time to diss CNN about the Paris Hilton interview.
CNN deserved the criticism, but to do that, the iPhone, and ignore two landmark decisions just made me furious.

Alas, I should've known better, but I had hopes that Countdown would cover it.

4. Lehrer on PBS had a lot on it last nite.
They always cover the Supreme Court stuff.

6. That's nice to hear. But my neighbors and friends watched
the same programns I did, aren't political wonkls like I am, and are going to be shocked to hear that these two landmark rulings were overturned, IF they ever find out.

Without the MSM, Brett and Buffy Pinot-Grigio don't know.

That's the problem I have with it.
