Darrell Issa Must Be Defeated 2008

After his ignorant tirade yesterday on the vote for funding for Dick Cheney's office.
I was infuriated watching him tell Rep Emanuel that he was grandstanding and that
his amendment was nothing more then politics.
We all know now that Rep Issa thinks that VP Dick Cheney is above the law, and ok's
his secretive government actions.
From the secret energy files, to this months handling of documents, not to mention
the illegal invasion of Iraq, and I suspect Cheney had something to do with 9/11,
as he was in charge of a military excercise on that day...the only VP in history that
I know of to be in charge of that.

Darrell Issa must be defeated in 2008
I know it is a hard district for Democrats, but we can win.
Everytime I see him on Waxman's committee I want to hurl, he looks so sneaky, and is always whining.

1. He wanted to be governor
but could never make it through the primaries. So he funded the recall election with the millions he made from his car alarm business. Guess he thought he could buy himself the CA governorship. He was crying when he had to quit the race when no one supported his campaign.

I'd love to see him gone, but his seat is in a very safe Repug district.

2. Unfortunately, Issa proved to be right on one thing...
Darth Cheney is still going to get all the money he wants. It was close, and the Democrats on the Hill actually tried, but they failed.

4. Bilbray
I agree, but Bilbray is not as 'caustic' as Issa

I despise him, especially when I watch cspan and he is on Waxmans committee, always
asking ignorant questions that make you wonder what the hell he is asking, and he
is always sneaky about everything.....

5. What was ISSA's role in te Carol Lam firing? He provided false info, signed
the letter with Cunningham, and ????

His questioning at the United States Attorney firings hearings was blatantly directed, to place the reason in the immigration domain just as was his planting false information. The cover up point to the real dealings being elsewhere, Medicare fraud and public corruption, specifically Tenet Healthcare and Randy Cunningham, et.al.

NORTH COUNTY -- U.S. Rep. Darrell Issa will testify Tuesday at one of two congressional hearings addressing the firing of former San Diego U.S. Attorney Carol Lam and a handful of other U.S. attorneys.

The hearings come in the wake of pressure from Democrats who have raised questions about whether the recent sacking of Lam and the other U.S. attorneys was politically motivated.

Issa has been one of the chief critics of the Yale-educated Lam, who left her post on Feb. 15 after being asked to resign in December. Issa criticized Lam for what he saw as a failure to prosecute illegal immigrant smugglers.

Issa said Monday that Lam lost her job because she failed to fulfill part of her mandate. .....

8. Issa's an asshole.
Whiny crybaby asshole Republican, spear-header of the California recall fiasco a couple years back that put Arnold Schwarzenegger in charge (Oh yeah, and he was the first one to drop out of the races because of a DUI conviction). His opinions are pretty much irrelevant.
