Bin Laden's son weds grandmother from Cheshire

To say they are an unlikely couple would be an understatement. She is a 51-year-old grandmother and parish councillor from a village in Cheshire, he is a 27-year-old Arab scrap metal dealer from Jeddah... who just happens to be the son of Osama bin Laden.

But now, after a holiday romance which started when he saw her riding a horse near the Great Pyramid in Egypt, Jane Felix-Browne and Omar Ossama bin Laden have married.

Mrs Felix-Browne, who has been married five times before, met Bin Laden in Egypt last September while she was undergoing treatment for multiple sclerosis.

Her new husband already has a wife and a two-year-old child - under Islamic law men are permitted to have four wives - while Mrs Felix-Browne has three adult sons and five grandchildren.

and there's nothing wrong with my brain. A "rare form of multiple sclerosis"? Really. So, you're saying that a woman who marries a younger man must have something wrong with her brain and has lost the "ability to make good choices"?

At 16 she was married in London in an Islamic ceremony to a student from Saudi Arabia who knew the bin Laden family. They had a son, now 33.

In 1978 she married again and had two sons, now 28 and 27, before the marriage collapsed 3½ years later. She married for a third time in 1985 and again in 1991.

She married Andy Yeomans, a fellow member of Moulton parish council, in 1996. The marriage ended in July last year and they divorced in February. She believes her sixth marriage is for life: “I think Omar is going to be faithful. This is the last one.” She confirmed that she had undergone plastic surgery, including a breast enhancement 13 years ago and larger implants inserted two years ago.

She said she has also had a facelift and a tummy tuck.
