What EXACTLY is Rove's position?
I remember that he had been given a policy post at one point, and then it was removed before the '06 election so he could "concentrate on the political" business.

If he is purely a political animal (dejure. . we KNOW he is de facto) why has he not been subpoenaed?

I'm thinking of the Harriet Meiers thing here. She's been subpoenaed, she's going to IGNORE the subpoena, and I think Congress is within it's rights to get the Sargent at Arms to escort her to the hearing room. That would be disastrous TV for the committee. She's a little old lady, it would look horrible, and everyone would be full of sympathy for her.

KKKarl, however, probably is less popular than Cheney. I doubt that even most Repugs would kick up tons of dust if HE was escorted before the committee. It really burns my ass that we're paying his salary.

1. I know, I've felt that way for years.
Why are taxpayers footing the bill for his, his secretaries', his aides and all his hanger-ons' salaries? Why are we paying for his phone use, his cars and gas, his office space? I bet if you added it all up it would come to tens of millions of dollars wasted on KKKarl. His only function is to get the repukes elected. He does nothing but political work to promote the repuke political agenda. Why are we wasting American taxpayer's money on an overpriced political consultant?

3. She's a little old lady?
She is an integral part of the cabal, they wanted to put her on the Supreme Court.
She was exposed as during that process and is worthy of being drug in front of the committee to testify.
