Bush Still In Denial on Al Queda's New Pre-9/11 Strength: From Today's Presser
Edited on Thu Jul-12-07 10:35 AM by The Cleaner
At the very end of Bush's press conference, just when he was walking away from the podium, Martha Radditz shouted out a question about Al Queda's new pre-9/11 strength and Pakistan's harboring of terrorists. Bush came back to the podium and said:

"That is simply not the case. Al queda is weaker today than they would have been. They are still a threat, they are still dangerous. That is why it is important we succeed in Afghanistan and Iraq. I'm workin' with president Musharaf...that's why we need terrorist surveillance programs..."

Weaker today than they would have been? Would have been what?
:wtf:
