Bernie Ward just said Gonzo asked to correct his testimony.
Did you hear anything about this???? The last I heard was that Gonzo's spokesperson said "he stands by his testimony!" What did I miss?????

1. Gonzo was thinking of a different hospital meeting when Ashcroft was drugged...
and a completely different domestic spying network. It's so easy to get them confused, you know. :)

3. Bernie Ward is a talk show host on KGO radio. He's always
very supportive of the Democrats, and is one of the few talkers who is a very logical guy.

I just wondered is anyone had heard about Gonzo wanting to ammend his testimony, because I only heard the opposite!

7. Everyone gets the same chance to correct false testimony.
The emphasis is on the truth, not on putting people in jail. Though in this case we're talking such whoppers...

6. He's asked to correct his testimony once before, in the past.
No idea if that's what was meant.

8. at the hearing the other day G. mentioned he had called a reporter two or
3 days after his testimony to correct his press conference. He may be referring to that??

Schumer gave him a rough time about it cause G. did not seem to know what was said (actually had an aide call the WPost reporter--G. also gave the name of the reporter. I have not heard anything about it since.
