CNBC headline, no link yet.

Earlier CNN link that prosecutors wanted 18-36 months for him.

Edit: Story updated on the fly, now includes that he's pleading guilty.

29. The man is despicable. We're messing up the planet big time,
and the animals will suffer along with us for our stupidity. Someone who deliberately inflicts pain on helpless creatures is beneath contempt. A life sentence at hard labor for such behavior would suit him just fine.

6. I'd settle for 18-36 months for EACH dog he killed
to be served consecutively.

4. Good.
Now if they could just drop him in a pen with a bunch of pitt bulls, I think justice would be served.

18. Not with mine!
She would lick him to pieces, or maybe give him a few bruises with her wiggling tail, but she'd never harm a hair on his head.

I'd rather he serve 18-36 months as a volunteer in an animal shelter and learn the unconditional love a dog returns day after day after day after day.

26. NORMALLY
Normally I would agree with you but this man's a full-fledged sociopath. The animals at the shelter don't need to be around someone like him.

14. Va. says that they are but I wouldn't say his career is over
If he can play someone will give him a shot.

Also-he is probably taking the plea partly because it will cut down on what could be a massive legal bill. He has a lot of money so I don't expect him to end up broke.

Va. Commonwealth Attorneys says that they will seek an indictment from a state grand jury that is about to convene.

32. Okay that is true
the NFL has been tireless in keeping gambling as far away as possible.

Karras and Hornung has to sit a year for just being around gamblers. Namath had to sell his share of a restaurant. ESPN is only allowed to mention "the spread" in one segment (Hank whatshisname) in the program BEFORE NFL Countdown and so on. That is one thing that Rozelle established concretely from day one and it was simplistic genius.
