"Even my worst day as AG was better than my father's best day."
So his dad was poor (like me) so his dad worked construction (like me) so they lived in a house that his dad built (I built mine). I think that was a rotten thing to say about your father. There's more to life than money and position Al. I don't know if his dad is still alive, but if he is, that had to hurt to hear those words.
