Hasn't he been the head kahuna of Russia longer than the Bush regime has been in power here?

When does Bush's bosom buddy come up for election? If ever?

1. Elections in 2000 and 2004, supposedly term-limited in 2008.

3. According to his wiki
He became acting President on New Years Eve 99, and becamse official President in May 2000 elections. The Russian Constitution has consecutive term limits, meaning he can't run in 08, but could in 2012 if he wanted

6. well he got them totally out of debt after we ruined their economy in order
to win the cold war (via major counterfeiting of the ruble we trashed their global credit rating, taking it from triple A to 4F or something) so no one would give them credit. They've managed to straighten it all out and are in a positive cash flow, just swimming in money actually (unlike us).
