9. Roberts Adopted Children Are From Someone Other Than His Wife
That leaves the likely inference that he or is his wife was infertile...

11. My husband and I adopted our only child, our daughter.
Neither one of us is gay or bisexual, nor are we infertile. I'm just sayin.'

We were childless by choice for the first 15 years of our relationship.

I just want people to know that adoptive parents adopt out of love, the vast majority of the time - love, pure and simple.

28. I don't think anyone is slamming his adopting of her kids necessarily.
The only thing I'm looking at is the kids' ages. The two pictured above look way older than I am, which puts them pretty close to adulthood in 1982.

In Peace,

37. Bless you

A friend who adopted would often remark how callous people can be when finding out his child was adopted. "Oh, so he's not your REAL kid", etc. He was like, "No, he's my fake kid :sarcasm:, what do you think??"

I know what your friend goes through. I don't know how many times I've gone through the same thing. "Where's her real mom?" "Your looking at her."

27. Not much, but I'm looking at them. They're not 20-somethings.
They look older than I am. The guy has a slightly receding hairline- I'm guessing he's in his early 40s. They must've been nearly adults by the time he adopted them in 1982-1983.

and parrot the importance of family values, and you have your basic perfect gay cover.

15. His kids are "certain of his heterosexuality"? Really? They know what their father does sexually
at any time in his life?

I think that statement is the most preposterous statement of all....First of all, most kids don't want to even ever imagine their parents being sexual, period. Its an image that any kid can't and doesn't want to go there. But, assuming that they do want to know about a parent's "sex life", the reality is that short of them being privy to watching them in the bedroom and following them every moment of their life and their "intimate moments", how would they truly know the sexual preference of their parents?

Its so sad really, it seems that they too are in denial about so much....

26. Well, if 'entrapment' were an issue ...
... then a nice, private airplane loo sure offers more protection from such stings.

Is it possible that the far greater personal privacy of an airplane lavatory wasn't available?
