Edited on Sun Sep-16-07 10:38 PM by OmmmSweetOmmm
He first said, the Sopranos was a show about gangsters. That gangsters take their kids to school, they put food on the table for their families. That if this country was run by gangsters, and that who knows? Maybe it is.

He got an applause!

On edit..please see post #6 for the whole quote!!!! I got some of it wrong but the gist is correct.

11. There are many Republicans who know how fucked up this sociopath administration is,
and their party loyalty is going out the window. Did you hear Hagel on Real Time?

Maybe he slipped the censor some extra $$$. I wouldn't put it past FOX in the bribery department. However it got through, I'm glad it did!

15. It's pretty sad when Tony Soprano...
...is less than a sociopath than our own pResident.

Junior is all psychopath all the time. At least Tony experienced
some cognitive dissonance and felt guilt some of the time.

The Decider never wavers. He just keeps on killing and killing and
causing untold suffering---without so much as batting an eyelash.

A real-life Dr. Melfie needs to get Junior in a room and go hari kari
on his mind. Pop that denial bubble in which he lives--with a fierce
vengeance.

17. Don't you remember though? Malfi dumped Tony because of new studies that show that sociopaths
just become better sociopaths with therapy? Shrub is beyond help.

18. The Party and the lobbyists are partners with the 'gangsters'. Why not
say Mafia instead of gangsters - or is it 'gangsters' because the gangster partners go beyond the Mafia?

22. The Bush/Cheney cabal operates like a criminal syndicate.
Everything done in secrecy.
Loyalty is valued over all else, and only loyal, incompetent stooges are promoted and appointed.
They deceive the people and use fear to intimidate.
They lack any respect for human life, Americans or anyone else.
They steal to enrich their friends.
They have loyalty to no nation, and will compromise national security for power or wealth.

... I don't see any difference whatsoever. Except perhaps that the Mafia was kinder to women and children.
