3. I enjoyed him
He is a good spokesman for his candidate. Love his criticism of the Kerry campaign too because I agreed with him.

( I do not support anyone at this time... strictly neutral at this point)

7. Why Doesn't Hillary Do Her Own Talking?
I'm also blissfully non-committed and I want to listen and judge each candidate on their merits, not what some spinster has to say.

McAuliffe was a disaster running the DNC and now blames Gore and Kerry for the losses, as if he had nothing to do with it? He was a walking GOOP target that cost us the Congressional elections in '02.

Hindsight is always 20/20...and if you're a politician, it means 29.95 for a book deal.

4. now, wait a minute.
I've seen pictures of Terry McAwful on the teevee and he doesn't look anything like the guy whose picture is in the OP.

5. I don't attack my fellow Democrats, but I'm glad you feel free to do so
It's nice to know there's such a shortage of despicable Repukes that Democrats become fair game. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. :sarcasm:

6. So every Democrat is pure and honest in your book
just because they have a D next to their name. My vote is not held that cheaply. :eyes:

8. I don't recall mentioning a "vote"
I merely wanted to note that there are plenty of Repukes to savage, so why waste time denigrating Democrats on a discussion board called "Democratic Underground?" Whether any Democrat is "pure and honest" is quite beside the point. NO Republican is.

10. Democrats are elected by the people
and hopefully people who are informed of full public records and know their candidate's behavior. Therefore, it is required and incumbent for each and every democratic hopeful to be discussed in the fullness of their public offerings especially at Democratic Underground. Wimps that are not accustomed to the requirements of full discussion usually stay on the sidelines or sit at the kiddie table because the discussion is full throated and intense. The passion is for Democrats and holding them accountable is part of each true Democrat's civic duty.

9. I like Terry McAuliffe.
Regardless of his own particular political proclivities, he is a solid Democrat that brought solvency to the party and computerized it. He deserves acknowledgment for that endeavor. He is not bereft of value as a human being. I have never understood the drive to embrace only like-minded individuals here at DU.
