All sorts of topics and confusion

I read topics about immigration and illegal immigration , 2008 elections , bombing Iran , homeless , and this lousy economy .

I don;t know what to think here . My mother immigrated from Europe in 1922 and went through ellis island and had to have a sponser before she was allowed to come to america . It seemed intense but in a way fair .

All I can say is I were to deside to move to another country such as canada they have their requirements .

I don't blame immigrants coming here but how on earth does one regulate companies from hiring illegals ? Beside this we have people here from every country that the US has attacked as residents who get more help than if you were born here , I refer to New Orleans and the Miss gulf coast with no help at all and this troubles me .

Jobs are now a complete sick joke reguardless of what we are told that this economy is doing great .

Billions are spent on this war yet there is nothing for those who are killed there or injured let alone proper equipement .

There is so much wrong I can't see the good anylonger or where one would begin to fix this entire disaster . It reminds me of cutting down a giant red oak tree with a butter knife .

There were protests before and during this Iraq attack and all seems ignored .

I have no faith in politicians from either party now . It seems as though there is dirt on both sides or something holding them back from doing the right thing as the people asked .

As always , we have problems with no answers , many , many problems . There is not enough time left to help many lost already .

1. Whenever anyone rails against immigrants

I always look carefully at them, and then usually say, "Funny,you don't look Choctaw." That's the local tribe in my neck of the woods. I know many Choctaw, some full-blooded. And none of them talk bad against immigrants.

Right now, I don't see how moving will help anyone. We've gotten ourselves in a global fix now, and the only advice I have for you is to purchase solar panels and plant a garden.
